My
primary purpose in creating this company was to
help people gain more control over their computer
systems. If you already own a computer and various
software packages, it is likely that you sometimes
feel frustrated that you cannot coax the system
into performing the way it should. This phenomenon
is especially true on Microsoft platforms where
the underlying architecture is a patchwork of short-term
fixes to a variety of programming errors.
As
technology becomes more pervasive throughout our society,
the need to assert control over it has increased.
Many well-educated people often feel a sense of frustration
when they need to marshall the tremendous capabilities
of technology to their specific needs. Even people
with a technical background sometimes need a refresher
course to help them learn the latest and greatest
features and functions of their operating system or
application software.
I
first learned to program computers in 1975 when
my dad offered me a summer job at our family company
back in Kentucky. Since that time I have worked
in virtually every aspect of the software industry,
from managing the development staff of a dotcom
startup to cranking out code for Baby Bells. I've
worked as a consultant to Fortune 500 companies
on both coasts and also to universities. I have
extensive experience in training and troubleshooting.
Ready to give the corporate world a break, I am
focused on developing myl business to
provide
quality computer services for homes and small
businesses.
